A Story Starting with Wood
Gagliotta's story doesn't begin with shoes, but with wood. In the early 1900s, in the heart of Naples, the Gagliotta family ran an artisan carpentry workshop. It was there that their mastery of materials, attention to detail, and passion for well-made work were born.
With the evolution of the footwear industry, that expertise in woodworking found a new application: the production of wooden heels for footwear, giving rise to Tacchificio Gagliotta (Gagliotta Heel Factory).

It all began with an artisan carpentry workshop in Naples. The Gagliotta family masterfully worked with wood, laying the foundation for a tradition that would last over a century.
