Inspired by classic and archival New Balance styles, the upper of the 574 Yurt uses the New Balance 574 closet base as the basis of the design as the original is a trail running shoe released in the 80s. Additionally, they pulled elements from the archived New Balance 755.

A trail shoe at its core, the shoe features a heel whistle that puts an emphasis on outdoor safety and survival. In line with the outdoors theme, the campaign touches different environments starring actor Jesse Williams among other VIP guests. This will also be the first time the brand and designer have released apparel items including a hat, t-shirt, pants and hoodies, all in two colourways.
